Valuing Diversity

Purpose: This workshop is intended for all employees. The focus of this workshop is to take a look at the fundamental human approaches to difference and how we can create new patterns of behavior when we encounter new information, particularly information that is incongruent with our current belief system.

This workshop provides an opportunity to create a foundation for developing a new paradigm for encountering differences. The workshop focuses not only on cultural differences, but also on engaging ethnic, racial, gender, learning styles, among others. Learn to recognize our primary and secondary human approaches to difference and benefit from the diversity of your staff and co-workers by understanding the unique qualities that diversity brings to the workplace. Help create a safe and supportive work environment that reflects mutual respect of differences.
