MaryBeth Van Till's professional career has included 15 years of experience in higher education, focusing on organizational training and development, and technology instruction. In 2000, MaryBeth served as a Teaching and Learning Mentor for the Michigan Colleges Foundation, offering specialized technology workshops across the state for higher education institutions. Over the past decade, MaryBeth has become widely recognized as a gifted trainer, teacher, and public speaker. Using a combination of wit, wisdom and cutting edge information, MaryBeth engages audiences on topics ranging from software to soft skills, always focusing on the potential of human capital.
Her experience includes software curriculum and design, developing workplace orientation programs, mentoring partnership programs, sexual harassment awareness training and human capital development. MaryBeth has worked with institutions in the development and implementation of professional standards and performance evaluation appraisals. With a passion for social justice concerns, MaryBeth has devoted a portion of her work to the subject of diversity, fostering inclusive workplace climates and the healing of racism, serving as a facilitator for Dialogues on Racism, Power and Privilege, and the Institutes for Healing Racism workshops as well as related book group discussions. Additionally, she demonstrates a passionate conviction regarding the promotion of domestic violence awareness, prevention and healing strategies.
MaryBeth provides professional coaching and training focused on individual and organizational human development services, orientation/on-boarding processes, DiSC profile assessments, peer-mentoring, and team-building services.
MaryBeth is an active member of her community including involvement in her local neighborhood association, 3 years of service on the school board, and as a guest speaker on college campuses and not-for-profit organizations.
Using highly developed people-reading skills, MaryBeth has the ability to quickly assess individuals and engage with them at a personal level with ease. "With each new person I meet, I am intrigued by the complex variables that present themselves in our interactions. I love learning how to 'meet them where they are,' how to understand and recognize their particular journey, how to draw them out, and to walk with them along new paths." While working closely with the individual, Ms Van Till is able to simultaneously engage and evaluate the broader system within which the individual operates.

MaryBeth resides with her family in Grand Rapids, MI and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology at Western Michigan University.
